Questions · प्रश्न
How many Pradosh Vrat dates are there in 2015?
25: the first is Shukra Pradosh on Friday, 2 January 2015, the last Budh Pradosh on 23 December 2015.
2015 में कितनी प्रदोष व्रत हैं?
25 — पहली शुक्र प्रदोष (2 जनवरी 2015), अंतिम बुध प्रदोष (23 दिसंबर 2015)।
Why can the Pradosh Vrat date differ between cities?
A Hindu day runs from one sunrise to the next, and the tithi at sunrise (or at moonrise, pradosh or the ingress, as the vrat needs) names the day. Sunrise differs by place, so a city far from Delhi can keep the vrat a day apart; the month calendar gives your city's dates.
