We want you to be confident in every purchase you make on Jyotish Jagat. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how long you should expect the process to take. It applies in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Digital reports & AI services
Digital products include the Micro Question (₹99), Full Kundli Report (₹499), Kundli Matching report (₹299), Annual Prediction (₹999), and AI-generated remedy guidance.
1.1 Before delivery
If you change your mind before the report has been generated and delivered, write to us within 24 hours of payment and we will issue a full refund.
1.2 After delivery — report not generated correctly
Once a report has been delivered, refunds are only issued in the following cases:
- The report failed to generate (technical error, blank or incomplete report).
- The kundli was computed using birth details different from those you submitted.
- The report is in a language other than the one you selected.
- The same service was charged more than once for the same input.
In these cases we will first attempt to regenerate the report at no extra cost. If that is not possible, you will receive a full refund.
1.3 After delivery — subjective dissatisfaction
Astrology is interpretive by nature. Disagreement with the predictions or recommendations in a correctly-generated report is not, by itself, grounds for refund. Where you have substantive concerns we will review the case and may offer credits towards a future service at our discretion.
2. Astro Shop — physical products
Physical products include certified gemstones, energised rudraksha, yantras, and malas.
2.1 Cancellation before dispatch
If you cancel an order before it has been handed to the courier, you receive a full refund. Once the order is dispatched, the cancellation window closes and the return policy below applies.
2.2 Returns after delivery
- You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the lab-certificate (where applicable).
- Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless the product was defective on arrival or shipped in error.
- Once the product is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within 7 working days.
2.3 Items not eligible for return
- Items that have been worn or used in any ritual or remedy.
- Items that have been customised, energised, or pranapratishta-performed at the customer’s specific request.
- Items damaged due to mishandling after delivery.
3. Damaged or incorrect deliveries
If your shipment arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong product, please email info.jyotishjagat@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the package and the item. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including return shipping.
4. How to request a refund
- Email us at info.jyotishjagat@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Request — Order #<your order ID>”.
- Include your registered email, order ID, the reason for the refund, and any supporting evidence (screenshots, photographs, etc.).
- Our support team will respond within 2 working days with a decision or questions.
5. Refund timelines
- Approved refunds are initiated within 2 working days.
- Razorpay typically credits refunds to your bank or card within 5–7 working days of initiation.
- UPI refunds usually arrive within 3–4 working days.
- For international payments, please allow 7–10 working days for the refund to reflect on your statement.
If you do not see your refund after 10 working days from approval, please check with your bank first, then contact us with the order ID.
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us slows the resolution down for everyone. Please reach out to us first — almost every dispute can be resolved through a refund or a free re-delivery.
